As an International HR Operations Consultant Spain, UK & Ireland, you will be part of the country team responsible for managing all our Spanish HR services for our primarily international clients. You will advise and support them in translating their global HR policies into compliant employment relationships for their employees in Spain. Acting as our clients' local HR department, you ensure employees feel equally at home with us as they would with any local employer.
You will advise and actively support our clients, their employees, and expatriates on all relevant aspects of employment law, payroll, immigration, and day-to-day HR operations.
You will be a trusted sparring partner for clients, management, and colleagues across Europe in the field of international HR management and employment outsourcing. You will work closely with colleagues from our headquarters in the Netherlands and our teams across Europe, as well as with strategic partners around the world. In addition, you will act as the link between Parakar, our clients, and local Spanish payroll, legal, and accounting partners. Next to this, you will contribute to process improvements, digitalization initiatives and operational excellence projects across the HR and payroll function.
As our business continues to grow, you will also support HR & Payroll operations for the United Kingdom and Ireland. Depending on your experience, you may become involved in advising on local employment practices, supporting HR processes, and assisting with payroll activities in these countries.

The job
This is your job if
- You hold a relevant Bachelor's degree or have gained equivalent experience through your career;
- You have at least 2-3 years of experience in HR operations, labour relations, payroll, employment outsourcing, EOR, staffing, consulting, or a related field;
- You have strong knowledge of Spanish employment law and the Spanish employment lifecycle;
- Experience with Spanish Social Security administration, labour documentation, collective bargaining agreements, immigration processes, and payroll-related activities is considered a strong advantage;
- You preferably have some knowledge of UK and/or Irish employment law, or are highly motivated to learn and support these markets;
- Experience with UK and/or Irish payroll processes is a significant plus;
- You have an excellent command of both Spanish and English (C1 level or higher), written and spoken;
- You are based in one of Parakar’s European countries and enjoy working in an international environment. While we welcome candidates from across our European footprint, a large part of our team is based in Barcelona, making Barcelona an ideal location for this role.

- An annual starting salary between €30k and €45k, depending on experience and location;
