International Finance Intern

Then keep reading! Parakar is looking for a motivated Finance Intern to join our Finance department. In this role, you will support the team with day-to-day operations and ongoing projects, giving you exposure to both operational and project-based finance tasks. You’ll be involved in audits, financial reporting, and process improvement projects, making this the perfect opportunity to develop your finance skills in an international setting.

During this internship, you will support our Finance team with a wide range of responsibilities. The main focus will be assisting with audits, including:

• Gathering documentation for the PBC (Provided by Company) list;
• Assigning responsibilities to key internal contacts;
• Tracking the status of audits in progress.

Additionally, you will gain experience by:

• Supporting the month-end close process;
• Analyzing data quality and contributing to data clean-up projects;
• Reviewing past open transactions to help with account clean-up;
• Organizing and structuring financial documentation and folders.

This internship gives you valuable exposure to financial processes in an international scale-up, combining practical tasks with analytical challenges.

• You are currently studying Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Bachelor’s or Master’s level);
• You are organized, detail-oriented, and communicative;
• You bring a proactive and hands-on attitude;
• You can work both independently and in a team;
• You have good knowledge of Excel and are eager to learn new systems;
• You are available 32–40 hours per week, preferably starting as soon as possible (flexible);
• You have a good command of English (Dutch is a plus).
